\"\"The Houston Texans rebounded from their first loss of the season last week versus the Green Bay Packers, to come back and stomp the Baltimore Ravens 43-13 on Sunday afternoon in Week 7 of the NFL season.<\/p>\n

One thing looks to be certain. Houston is the class of the AFC.<\/p>\n

Fortunately for Houston<\/a>, they do play in the AFC, as the NFC this season is looking mighty strong and will be a lot of fun to watch towards the end of the season and playoff time.<\/p>\n

But the AFC is simply lackluster right now.<\/p>\n

Baltimore came into this one 5-1 on the season, and primed to challenge for the Super Bowl, then lay an egg like this? I can understand a loss, but the fact that they lost by 30 points just goes to show that the injuries they have sustained right now is too much to overcome.<\/p>\n

Ok, how about the Patriots<\/a>?<\/p>\n

Well, New England was an 11-point favorite at home against the Jets, and needed a last-second field goal to press the game to overtime, before winning on a field goal in the extra session. It’s not exactly what you expect from a team like New England, who were the biggest favorites of this NFL weekend.<\/p>\n

The fact of the matter is that there are three or four NFC teams that I would take over Houston right now, and then a handful more probably before I would take another AFC team.<\/p>\n

Atlanta, San Francisco, Green Bay, Chicago, and New York all come to mind as teams I would take over Houston. And even the Saints looked back on the offensive side of the ball, despite having just a 2-4 record right now.<\/p>\n
